Over the years, we have spent months near the little town of Silverton in Colorado. It was a principal mining town in the late 1880s. Left are hundreds of miles of Jeep trails that allow you to tour the colorful San Juan Mountains. The main street in town is paved. The other four are not.
An excursion train follows the Animas River from Durango to the town daily to deposit a hundred tourists for lunch in the several restaurants and shops.
There is one bar that features a drink that I have never been able to recall the name of. The favor of the drink comes from a large glass bottle above the bar. Objects float in bottle. It's named something like Black Death.
One year, our waitress was tall, thin and had an ass that could crack walnuts. I noticed this feature before she served my first Black Death.
All the buildings were constructed in the 1800s. This one had a cellar accessed by something too steep to be stairs but not quite a ladder. There was a door in the floor to access the cellar.
Our waitress bounded with the precision and grace of a mountain goat up and down the stairs. Bong, bong, bong. Her tight dress hugging her ass.
I had to chat her up. It was a summer job for her. She was a ballet dancer.
I ordered another drink.
Damn, not one picture of the dancers ass.
Beautiful scenery. The nearest we have to it, on this crowded island, is the Scottish Highlands. The movie link is to the film Easy Virtue, the bottom in question attached to Jessica Biel, her partner Colin Firth. Miss Biel's derriere is divine, and has a personality of its own.
ReplyDeleteI regret I did not visit Scotland when I was able. Would have enjoyed traipsing through the "Stans" when I was young.
DeleteThanks for identifying the actors. There are probably not a dozen I can name just from seeing them on the screen.
It might be a fun film. I like the Mother? who first clutches her pearls then applauds. Kristin Scott Thomas?
Yes Indeed, Kristen Scott Thomas, quintessential upper middle class English who spent most of her life in France. Equally, I regret not visiting the wide open spaces of your fine country.
DeleteIt occurred to me that spanking a dancer's ass capable of cracking walnuts might just be injurious and painful to one's hand? And that daring to do so to one who is serving you a doubtful concoction called Black Death would be most unwise. I trust at the least, your thoughts in said direction involved a rendezvous absent said libations and an implement of some sort? Can't be too safe out there Bogey!
ReplyDeleteJust seeing how the fabric tightened across her round bottom left a great memory. Just like the dress on Jessica Biel. The fabric did not compress her bottom but tightened instead. I could have another Black Death and watched her go and down the stairs. Watch the video again.
DeleteC.W.McCall has a song about the Silverton Train that is worth a listen if you have not heard it.
ReplyDeleteI had forgotten the connection with CW and the San Juans. There is a memory buried about him that may come to me.

Anywho, this is from Wikipedia:
McCall's most successful song was "Convoy", a surprise hit in 1975, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and number two in the UK Singles Chart in March 1976. After a successful spell of touring, Fries retired to Ouray, Colorado where he was elected mayor, serving from 1986 to 1992.
For those not familiar with the area, Ouray is at the north end of the mountains, while Silverton is at the south end.
I did not know there was a video. He also did a song called "Roses For Mama" It hard to listen to without the eyes watering. Really gets me.
DeleteTook a motorcycle trip one year that took us to Silverton and Durango. Both neat towns.
ReplyDeleteAgree. For us what is between the two towns, as shown in the pictures, was of the most interest to us.
