The paddlings I got in school, especially in the early grades, were traumatic. I dreaded them. They always made me wait for the fear to build before paddling me.
As an adult, I call the experience anticipation. Now it's a wonderful and sexy circumstance - for Bacall and myself. It starts when we ask for a paddling or when we are told we will be paddled.

We did not have paddling in school, but I do understand the anticipation effect. My wife knows I occasionally like her to do an "appointment" spanking and surprises, so she will tell me to, fo example, to be ready and waiting at 3 PM in position on the bed. Watching the clock builds up the anticipation and sometimes she has me waiting a few minuter before coming into the room. By thhe time she is finished, that anticipation was justified! She knows how to set me on fire and have wondering what was "I thinking when I ask for it", long before it is over.
ReplyDeleteWe certainly set each other on fire. Sometimes we ask for more. More licks or more licks from a terror paddle. Are our paddlings more or less than yours? No way to determine that. It might be fun to say that I got a 77 (out of a hundred) as a brag.
DeleteAfter a birthday spanking, I now get 83+ as normal but I don't count so, it usually goes past when I believe it should have ended and that is enough. While usually she uses a belt, sometimes she will put in a few smacks with a small wooden paddle for variety. I never feel it wasn't enough when she finishes.

Works the same if we stop to answer the phone. Restarting is a non-starter for me. Let the damn thing ring.
