Dear old reader, a high compliment indeed. Our last house had doors like that to access the dormers. One could not accommodate a full door. The other could, and I had it reframed. I miss many things about that house and the storage space in those huge dormers is one. That said, the prime reason we moved to a one level was it was becoming difficult to climb the stairs.
