I have mentioned how Bacall is progressing. Excellent range of motion, but still a good amount of pain. I have not shared how her surgery is affecting me. First, I am anemic (from Leukemia). Doing anything quickly tires me. There are simply not enough red blood cells to carry the requisite oxygen. For example, I cook a meal in stages. I spend 15 minutes on preparation, then rest for 15 minutes.
She seems to constantly need something, so I am up and down a lot. All this means I have less time and less energy to post here.
She Has a Talent
Sounds hard, caring for someone else when you are not 100 % yourself. Glad to hear that Bacall is progressing, though.
ReplyDeleteI think that the second GIF could very easily be described as a "Smart Arse" :)
Prefectdt
Yes, smart ass seems to fit. I would like to know how she came to think about doing it. Not something that would ever occur to me. Anyway, she would seem to be the playful type.
Deletevery nice variety. There is something about the eyes of that first girl that are hypnotic.

DeletePlease be sure to take care of yourself. It can be incredibly exhausting being a caregiver even when you are at 100 percent. Don't worry about the blog. We will be here when you are able to post.
ReplyDeleteI have done this before. This time I have less energy. I am back on treatment, so maybe in 2/3 months I will feel better, and I am sure she will. She wanted to do the prep for lunch today. So she sat at the table and made the marinade, and is now cutting potatoes. I will saute the spinach and mushrooms. She is like me, she wants to do for herself. Take care yourself.
DeleteYou make up for time and energy with quality pics. Bravo!
ReplyDeleteglad you enjoyed them
DeleteThat cup thing looks like a fun party game.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you could do it. Even in my most limber days, I would not be able to do it. However, I could watch her.
