She got home late yesterday. She probably should have gone to Rehab, but the discussion ended with it being OK to come home.
Home health will come and bathe her, etc. It's long past the day when I could pick her up.
She is managing on Percocet. I expect she will improve dramatically by next week.
I was exhausted yesterday, but could not sleep. At midnight, I took a third Ambien. Still work up at 5:30.

ReplyDeleteNo place like home for recovery. It is a stressful experience having a partner in recovery , and that can really mess up sleep.

Wishing Bacall a speedy recovery. The first few days are the roughest. Hoping things improve quickly. Good to hear she was able to come home the day of the surgery. It probably means the surgery went well with no complications.
ReplyDeleteSurgery on Tuesday, home Thursday. Managing pain with Percocet. In good spirits most of the time. I was able to sleep from 6:30 to 4:30.
