Stockings fine, but I have to confess to probably being the only male not to like garter belts. I know, almost every male is in to garter belts, but they hold no attraction for. Perhaps I could seek therapy!
I am ambivalent. I saw garter belts in HS. I did not know stockings existed until I was past 30. Perhaps stay up by themselves stockings were more expensive? Perhaps garter belts were just considered the thing to wear? Bacall hated them. Most women take off their bra whne they home. For her it was her garter belt.
