A UK Spanking Party

Spanking parties are different in the UK. This account was written by an OBB reader who knows his subject. I sent him the picture below and asked if it was taken at a UK party.  I am grateful to learn about a piece of British spanking heritage. 

Indeed it is a spanking party, and I may well have been there. George Harrison-Marks was a producer of soft porn including 8mm cine film format. He discovered spanking as a possible market, and set up magazines such as Kane and Februs. He also made VHS videos under the Kane brand. An innovation was his live spanking shows at the Concordia restaurant in West London. These shows were set piece acting segments containing spanking scenes. The audience sat in rows like a theatre. After George passed away his daughter Josie took over. The Concordia events were changed to a party format. There were about 16 girls and 50 guys. The guys sat in a large circle with a row of chairs, set facing alternate directions, in the middle. 

The party started with the girls being spanked over the laps of guys, moving on to the next guy every three minutes or so. Then 4 girls at a time would bend over the chairs in the middle, and receive perhaps 6 each with a strap or leather paddle, from some of the guys. 

Then there would be a break for lunch of Italian cuisine. 

After lunch, the girls would take turns in bending over the chairs to receive 6 strokes of the cane. That is the point at which your photograph was taken.

At the end those guys who wished to switch could receive punishment from the girls. 

It should be said that these parties were well organised, and each girl would only be spanked, strapped, or caned by one third of the guys.

Josie's parties were very popular, and only stopped when the Concordia was sold.

I started OBB to say that spanking could be mutually erotic for both the spankee and the spanker. Spanking fun. I knew it would be a niche blog as the spanko world is so invested in punishment and discipline. 

I maintain that spanking, however severe or frequent, will not change behavior. I understand that some spankees require a reason to be spanked, and they will, again and again, engage in forbidden behavior to earn a spanking. That the spanker buys into this foolishness and continues the believe he is helping cure the behavior is incredible to me. That the spankee engages in senseless activity is, well, their business.

What's sorely missing from spanking blogs are accounts of real-life spankings. Surely, I am not the only man to have spanked a gal. It seems as if everyone else is wrapped up in fantasy. The men know the names of the pros, but have they ever spanked anyone?
