The Last Picture Show - One of my all-time fav movies. Ben Johnson did not want to do this scene. He only likes a few sentences at a time. Bogdanovich called John Houston to convince Johnson to do the scene. Johnson cursed Bogdanovich for putting the old man on him. The scene won him an award. [*]

ReplyDeleteI just sat down to rest after folding some clothes. Rest after folding clothes! Welcome to my world. In fact, I have a rally in the last two weeks and I plan to resume posting, perhaps limited, after I finish my taxes. I know that if I did the other way around, I would be in trouble with the IRS and the state.
