About once a week, I get a notice that I have posted something that Wordpress considers against its rules. Their rules are unintelligible to me, but I receive a notice within minutes if anything resembling a coochie appears. Sometimes just a boobie.
This morning I got this:
OBB has been suspended because it contains "moderate or restricted posts."
I guess that means the titties in Saturday's post.
I had the text below on Central Asia handy, so I decided to see if it would post. It did. Now it's an hour later, and I am going to add a few images and see what happens. They are below.
No requirement to read about Central Asia, but I am finding the book fascinating.
I am reading a book on Central Asia, in the period of 1000 to 1200. If you had asked me where Central Asia was, my answer would have been incorrect. It is composed of the "stans". You know all those countries that most of us can not find on a map. Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, etc - the seven "stan" countries. [Stan is a place of - place of Kazaks]
The Silk Road runs through them. Trade was not only with China, but India. The largest city in the world in 1150 was Merv - population 200,000. I know, Merv was on the tip of your tongue.
Astronomy, trigonometry, physics, geography, medicine and more originated in Central Asia.
