Cool 10 minutes in pan.
Pour glaze over cake.

Mix the following in a cup with a pouring spout.
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 rounded TBs cocoa
1/4 c. Kahlua
I have cut the Vodka used in the cake in half in the last few years as my taste has changed.
It does not keep fresh long, so either have friends or an appetite.
Oh, man! That sounds delicious!
ReplyDeleteEspecially since I love Kahlua...
A stellar inaugural recipe, thank you. :-)
Hey both, so glad you joined in. Sounds absolutely delicious. I have to admit I had to Google Kahlua.

Oh, that sounds lovely! I'm a Kahlua fan too, so I'll have to try the full dose first. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOh, I bet that would pair nicely with Russian coffee, or Kahlua & cream. Sounds yummy! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea, Kahlua and cream and maybe a dash of vodka.
DeleteTotally agree with the kahlua fans here!
ReplyDeleteYes, it does sound perfect with coffee. I have never put vodka in a baking recipe before, so this one sounds intriguing. There is some in the liquor cabinet, though. We have a barbecue recipe that calls for it.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, Bleue,
