I was reading an article this morning. A woman was recalling her early life in her Dad’s boat. One was a Century Coronado, a sexy gull wing design. This made me recall the adventures a group of us enjoyed with a Century Resorter that was the love the gal’s Uncle. He took her skiing every morning at 6 when the water was still glass. She was good, real good. Their place was two down from ours and I always liked to see her get up and then reach around with one hand and pull her suit down to modestly cover her pert bottom.
The other use of the boat was for our ever changing group of about six. We slowly cruised the river in front of cabins after dark. With the throaty inboard Gray Marine overhead-valve V-8 the boys were thrilled. We were all thrilled enjoy a few brews and perhaps make out a bit.
This shows the boat as I recall it. Notice the covered engine compartment. It was for more than just sitting on as this old post relates.
