LOL - Thursday, November 12

The ABA has designated the first Friday in November as Love Your Lawyer Day. So I guess it’s OK to have the second Thursday as Love Our Lurkers.  Or maybe not. Some lawyers are questioning the wisdom of their peers making such a direct appeal for affection. “I think it’s ridiculous. I haven’t seen ‘Love Your Doctor Day’ or ‘Love Your Accountant Day’ or ‘Love Your Spanker Day’.

Should readers feel the urge to comment here on ANY OTHER day, we would welcome it. We will truly love you for it. But today, feel free to lurk.

I assure you that I will not be commenting on the blogs that I read today, just to be commenting. I only comment when I think a post is well done, original, titillating, etc.

I admit I really miss the folks who made regular comments here 1o years back. I guess we bored them and they moved on.

So comment or not - Chive On.

  4. I confess to being a lurker on this blog. I stop by much more often than I comment. I love Bogey and Bacall

  5. Thanks to the women who said Hello. It reminds me that there are women that read OBB, in spite of the fact that so many of the posts are F/M oriented and way too many eye candy pictures. I do wish that they would ring in when I ask questions directed to the xx chromosome gender. Always trying to figure out how the world spins around.

  6. With trembling fingers I temporarily de-lurk to say I love your blog. I promised myself I'd pick my favorite and make a little anonymous comment on this LOL day and you win. For your sense of humor, classy names and love for polka-dot panties, this middle aged midwestern lady salutes you. For a refreshing place to giggle about spanking without any of the DD nonsense or scary dungeons, I thank you. I devoured every entry within a few days of finding your site and if I commented on everything I found witty or entertaining I'd risk going from "lurker" to "stalker" rather quickly. If I ever out myself to my husband, I will likely just direct him to read your blog, then whisper, "You game?"

    1. Dear Anonymous, what a pleasant note. Thank you.

Bacall does like polka-dot panties and I really like to see her in them.

A word on outing yourself to your husband. Some men react quite negatively. Tread slowly and cautiously. We will keep a good thought for you.

      Cheers Bogey

  7. Hi Bogey,
I don't consider myself a lurker yet I see no harm in commenting today either.
I comment and visit when I can and your posts are almost always to my liking.
    Best

  8. Hi B&B,
I comment when I fell I have something to say.....but as you may have guessed this is rare. Not through want of trying, just you seem to say it all so neatly.
    Anyway have a happy day

  12. Always enjoy stopping by. I've brought my (evolving vanilla) wife over to have a peek. She enjoys seeing folks in our demographic-where bending over is never a problem but straightening back up might be ;-)-having as much fun as we are. Cheers!

  13. Hi B&B,

I actually leave comments on your blog so I cannot be a lurker, at least not here. But Happy LOL Day anyway! :)

    Hugs,
    Bonnie
